“Decadent? I suppose they could say it, but I don’t see how it would be true.” There was a brief pause as the pizza arrived and was handed to each of them.
Tarene forgot all about their current conversation when the pizza was delivered. An almost unnaturally wide smile broke out on her lips and she looked up at Thor. “Dig in?”
Thor nodded, and tucked into his own pizza with enthusiasm.

“They are decadent and incestuous,” Thor suggested. “Although the second is true of the Vanir, and we got on well enough with them after a while.”
“Some might say that we are as well though…” She said quietly, shrugging, “Though I admit we take our responsibilities far more seriously than the Greeks. They seem to hold no care for the humans they are charged with.”

“Olympian friends?” said Thor, surprised. “No, that is, it’s your choice. I know very little of them except gossip.”
“Yes… I know many Asgardians dislike them though I cannot fathom why.”
“They are decadent and incestuous,” Thor suggested. “Although the second is true of the Vanir, and we got on well enough with them after a while.”

“I should probably stop asking about alternate versions of people, considering the differences in the ones that do exist in both,” said Thor, with a smile. “Maybe you should tell me about the people you do know, you clearly have good friends there.”
She paused a moment, nodding before smiling widely at Thor. “Actually… many of my friends are Greek, I hope that does not cause you any frustration.” Tarene looked over at Thor again, “And many human friends. They are kind to me… I can see easily why you… or my Thor wishes to protect them.”
“Olympian friends?” said Thor, surprised. “No, that is, it’s your choice. I know very little of them except gossip.”

‘I see. How about Thialfi?”
“I have heard of Thialfi… but I have never personally met him.”
“I should probably stop asking about alternate versions of people, considering the differences in the ones that do exist in both,” said Thor, with a smile. “Maybe you should tell me about the people you do know, you clearly have good friends there.”

“That we could,” said Thor. Then, idly, “Does your universe have a Roskva?”
“I am not sure… if it does then I have not met her.”
‘I see. How about Thialfi?”

“Roskva seems to be welcome anywhere,” said Thor, slightly amused, although he did see why. “I’ll tell her she’s welcome, but she might still be on holiday with Loki.”
“I wouldn’t want to trouble her with it, whenever she gets back we could pass it along.” Tarene smiled, slipping into the booth. The restaurant wasn’t very busy but she didn’t mind, she preferred quiet nights.
“That we could,” said Thor. Then, idly, “Does your universe have a Roskva?”
thedesignate:

“Thank you, I’ll have to come and see your world. Loki can’t be the only one who gets to visit other universes.”
“That would simply be unfair!” They were given a table marker and found a booth by the window. “Roskva can join you as well if you wish. She is welcome to visit anytime.”
“Roskva seems to be welcome anywhere,” said Thor, slightly amused, although he did see why. “I’ll tell her she’s welcome, but she might still be on holiday with Loki.”

“Is that an invitation?” Thor asked, jokingly, as he pulled out his own wallet and paid.
“It is!” She smiled, “You can visit me anytime you like, actually.”
“Thank you, I’ll have to come and see your world. Loki can’t be the only one who gets to visit other universes.”
thedesignate:

“You are the guest here.”
“Well when you come to my world I shall treat you to dinner!”
“Is that an invitation?” Thor asked, jokingly, as he pulled out his own wallet and paid.
